B4T, the new pre-impression surface optimizer, eliminates this uncertainty by creating a uniform surface. Preparation of high-precision impressions requires an impression material with outstanding tear strength and excellent wettability. The properties of Aquasil Ultra have been optimized for these demands. This is precisely where the new B4T comes into play.
B4T is a conditioning solution that is applied to the preparation before the actual impression is taken. It provides a uniform area with reduced surface tension. The standardized conditions established by B4T enhance the contact angle and the flow of the impression material. This results in reliable impressions characterized by extremely high detail. In addition, the number of retakes is considerably reduced and it is easier to remove the impression from the patient’s mouth.
